The 'Government Plans' clause defines the rights and obligations of the parties regarding the use, disclosure, or handling of plans, drawings, or specifications provided by a government entity. Its core function is to protect sensitive government information and ensure compliance with legal or contractual requirements related to government-furnished materials.
Government Plans. In addition to paying the entire premium cost for single, double or family coverage under the provincial hospital/medical care plans, Line Creek Operations shall contribute to each employee’s Canada Pension Plan and Unemployment Insurance coverage as prescribed by legislation. The Company shall also pay the assessed costs of providing Workers’ Compensation coverage for employees.
Government Plans. THE CANADA PENSION PLAN - may provide a disability benefit which is based on the Government pension an employee would have received if the employee had been sixty-five (65) years of age at the time the employee’s disability occurred. To qualify for benefits an employee must have contributed to this Government plan for the minimum specified period. Employees may be asked by the Administrator of the Government plan to undergo medical examinations and take reasonable rehabilitative measures. Letters of Intent
Government Plans. The amount of disability benefit under this Plan will be reduced by the amount for which the employee is eligible and receives under the disability benefit provision of the Canada or Quebec Pension Plan, or similar provisions in any other Government Plans for disability, for which the employee is receiving an amount of disability benefit under this Plan, except for war disability pensions and Workplace Safety and Insurance disability pensions. The Company Insurer may require certification or verification of the amount of income from the Pension Plan or such other Government Plans. The amount of disability benefit in excess of the amount which should have been paid may be deducted from the amount of any future disability benefit, or repaid by the employee to the Company and/or Insurer, as the case may be through some other mutually satisfactory arrangement.

Use of the Software and Materials by the Government is further restricted according to the Agreement and any amendment hereto.

  • Government Users If the user or licensee of this commercial computer software is an agency, department, or other entity of the United States Government, the use, duplication, reproduction, release, modification, disclosure, or transfer of this software, or any related documentation of any kind, including technical data and manuals, is restricted by a license agreement or by the terms of this contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.212 for civilian purposes and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement 227.7202 for military purposes. This product was developed fully at private expense. All other use is prohibited.

  • GOVERNMENT DATA PRACTICES Supplier and Sourcewell must comply with the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, Minnesota Statutes Chapter 13, as it applies to all data provided by or provided to Sourcewell under this Contract and as it applies to all data created, collected, received, maintained, or disseminated by the Supplier under this Contract.

  • Government Permits The Company and its subsidiaries possess such certificates, authorities or permits issued by the appropriate state, federal or foreign regulatory agencies or bodies necessary to conduct the business now operated by them, other than those which the failure to possess or own would not have, individually or in the aggregate, a Company MAE. Neither the Company nor any of its subsidiaries has received any notice of proceedings relating to the revocation or modification of any such certificate, authority or permit which, individually or in the aggregate, if the subject of an unfavorable decision, ruling or finding, would result in a Company MAE.
