Grade Change Impact on Pay Sample Clauses

Grade Change Impact on Pay. In the event the revised duties result in an increase in the position’s grade placement, the employee will be paid the higher salary retroactive to the first day of the new assignments. When a request for reclassification is made later than six (6) months after the documented start date of the new duties, retroactive pay will be provided only for ninety (90) calendar days unless the JLM finds extenuating circumstances. In the event the change in duties results in the position being reclassified downward, the position’s rate of pay will be adjusted on the salary schedule in effect on the date of the College President’s decision and will go into effect when the position is next filled.
