Grade Teachers. The Board will provide elementary teachers (including art, music, physical education, reading, science, or other areas) planning time of 123 minutes per week. It is understood that the District may provide substitute teachers or other methods to satisfy the above requirement. Classroom teachers are not required to be present during special classes, but they must walk students to and from specials unless other arrangements have been made at the building level. No employee may leave the building during planning time unless approved by principal.
