CULTURAL DIVERSITY The Cultural Diversity Requirement generally does not add units to a student's program. Rather, it is intended to be fulfilled by choosing courses from the approved list that also satisfy requirements in other areas of the student’s program; the exception is that Cultural Diversity courses may not satisfy Culture and Language Requirements for B.S. students. For example, Anthropology 120 can fulfill (3) units of the Behavioral Science requirement and (3) units of the Cultural Diversity requirement. Health Plan An appropriately licensed entity that has entered into a contract with Subcontractor, either directly or indirectly, under which Subcontractor provides certain administrative services for Health Plan pursuant to the State Contract. For purposes of this Appendix, Health Plan refers to UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company.
Cultural Heritage 1. The IVG shall monitor and verify the preservation of cultural heritage in the Old City in accordance with the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List rules. For this purpose, the IVG shall have free and unimpeded access to sites, documents, and information related to the performance of this function.
TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM A. As part of the University policy to encourage staff members to further their formal education, the Tuition Assistance Program for Employees was established. Under the Tuition Assistance plan, qualified Employees will be issued vouchers which will enable them to register without paying tuition. (Incidental fees, however, must be paid by the Employee.)

Shift Rotation Routine shift rotation is not an approach to staffing endorsed by the Employer. Except for emergency situations where it may be necessary to provide safe patient care, shift rotation will not be utilized without mutual consent. If such an occasion should ever occur, volunteers will be sought first. If no one volunteers, the Employer will rotate shifts on an inverse seniority basis until the staff vacancies are filled.
DISCIPLINE OF TEACHERS A. The Board may adopt rules and regulations not in conflict with the terms of this Agreement concerning the discipline of teachers.
DURATION OF SCHOOL DAY AND YEAR 33C) The duration of the school day and year will be the responsibility of the Academy Trust.
