Grievance Filing and Initial Review. If an issue is not resolved informally, the Union may present the grievance, in writing, to the DOC Headquarters Labor Relations Office via electronic mail within the twenty-one (21) day period described above. The timeframes for hearing the grievance at Step 1 will begin on the first day the local Human Resources Office is open.
