Common use of Grievance Hearings Clause in Contracts

Grievance Hearings. (a) Employees presenting a grievance: (i) An employee who presents a grievance is entitled to be present at the hearing of the grievance at any step in the grievance process, and where the grievance is heard during working hours, they shall be entitled to attend the hearing without loss of pay. (ii) Where an employee attends the hearing of their grievance outside their headquarters area, the Employer shall not be liable for any expenses related thereto.
