Grievance Mediation Stage. a) In the event that either party rejects the proposed solution of the Joint Grievance Committee, the Director of Education and the OECTA Local President may on behalf of both parties, jointly request assistance from a mutually agreeable mediation service. b) The costs of Grievance Mediation Services will be borne equally by the parties with the costs of representatives of each party to the mediation process borne entirely by that party.
