GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE AND ARBITRATION. 15.01 The Employer and the Union recognize that grievances may arise in each of the following circumstances: (a) the interpretation, application, administration or alleged violation of this Agreement, including any question as to whether a matter is arbitrable, or a provision of an arbitral award; (b) the interpretation, application, administration or alleged violation of a provision of an Act or Regulation, or a direction or other instrument made or issued by the Employer dealing with the terms or conditions of employment; (c) disciplinary action resulting in demotion, suspension, or a financial penalty, including the withholding of an increment; (d) discharge; or (e) letters or notations of discipline placed on an employee’s personnel file. 15.02 Grievances shall be settled according to the following procedures for grievance and arbitration.
