Grievance Purpose. 10.3.1 The purpose of this procedure is to secure, at the lowest possible administrative level, equitable solutions to grievances which may from time to time arise. Both parties agree that these proceedings shall be kept as informal and confidential as may be appropriate at any level of the procedure. 10.3.2 Nothing contained herein shall be construed as limiting the right of any employee having a grievance to discuss that matter informally with any appropriate member of the administration, and having the grievance adjusted without intervention of the employee organization, provided the adjustment is not inconsistent with the terms of the Agreement and the employee's organization has been given the opportunity to be present at such adjustments.
