Common use of Grievance Step 1 Clause in Contracts

Grievance Step 1. If the grievance is not settled as provided for in Article 8.02 above, it shall be set forth in writing on a grievance form provided by XxxXxxX, signed by the Grievor and a Union Xxxxxxx and given to the supervisor. The written grievance shall be submitted no later than ten (10) working days following receipt of the supervisor's reply provided for in Article 8.02 above, and shall contain details of the grievance, the specific provision(s) or interpretation of the Agreement that has been allegedly violated and the relief sought. A Step 1 meeting shall be scheduled and held within ten (10) working days of the filing of the Step 1 grievance unless the Parties agree otherwise.
