Employees are responsible for the observance of Company the Employer’s OH&S Policy policy in the workplace. Negligence of an employee Employee associated with the loss of OH&S equipment or and signage may result in the employee having being required to compensate the Employer for that loss to the Companyloss. 15.4 iv. Employees will not undertake any task or operate any equipment that they have not been trained to perform safely. Any employee that Employee who is unsure whether he/she or a work colleague is competent to safely perform a task or operate equipment will not proceed and will notify the Company employer immediately. 15.5 v. Employees will immediately advise the Employer in the event that they lose (including physical loss) or have revoked any license, OHS Certification or Blue Card (Certification for satisfactory completion of 3021Qld-Course in General Safety Induction (Construction Industry)) or any other relevant qualification necessary for their work. vi. Smoking is not permitted inside Company premises (including toilets) or vehiclesanywhere on any site under the control of the Employer. 15.6 vii. Before commencing work employees Employees shall conduct a thorough risk assessment to identify and eliminate any hazards to themselves or other persons. If an employee Employee cannot safely rectify these hazards he/she should not commence work and immediately notify Company the employer’s management. 15.7 viii. Employees should immediately notify Company the Employer’s management by completion of the relevant an Incident Report form if they injure themselves at work or subsequently become aware of any injury or disease that they may have sustained during the course of employment with the CompanyEmployer. ix. In the event that an Employee becomes sick or is injured at work, they agree to make themselves available to the Employer for light duties or training as directed. Unless explicitly stated, a Doctor’s Certificate stating they are unfit for work will be considered to refer to their normal duties only. This Clause is intended to encourage and facilitate the Employee’s return to the workplace and the Employer agrees that nothing in this clause will serve to prevent the Employee from following appropriate medical advice.
