Common use of Health and Welfare Plans Clause in Contracts

Health and Welfare Plans. (a) A copy of the master contracts with the carriers for the extended health care, dental and group life plans shall be sent to the Executive Director of the Union. (b) The Employer will consult the Union before developing any brochure explaining the highlights of the plans for distribution to employees. (c) During the life of this agreement, with the exception of Clause 30.08, the Employer shall revise any benefit in Article 30 should such benefit be revised for the majority of unionized employees in the Public Service. Such revisions shall be on the same basis implemented for the majority of unionized employees in the Public Service.
