Common use of Health Care Bargaining Agent Clause in Contracts

Health Care Bargaining Agent. The Administration and the employee organizations agree that the employee representatives on the Health Care Review Committee shall collectively be considered the bargaining agent on health care issues. During formal negotiations either side may utilize resources including additional staff, consultants or advisors to assist in negotiations. Such resources will be considered observers while at the table and are entitled to participate in discussions or deliberations. Tentative agreements are subject to ratification by the membership of each employee organization.
