Common use of Health Education and Outreach Clause in Contracts

Health Education and Outreach. 2.7.4.1 The CONTRACTOR shall develop programs and participate in activities to enhance the general health and well-being of members. Health education and outreach programs and activities may include the following: 2.7.4.1.1 General physical, behavioral health and long-term care education classes; 2.7.4.1.2 Mental illness awareness programs and education campaigns with special emphasis on events such as National Mental Health Month and National Depression Screening Day; 2.7.4.1.3 Smoking cessation programs with targeted outreach for adolescents and pregnant women;
