Health Insurance Committee. Effective October 1 of each year, there shall be formed a joint labor management committee on insurance. The committee shall be comprised of not more than four (4) members designated by the Association and four (4) members designated by the Board of Education. This committee shall have the authority to evaluate insurance plans, collect data, provide insurance education to members, explore insurance options and make recommendations to the parties they represent on changes to the insurance programs offered to employees. The Board of Education or its designee shall ensure all data requested by this committee is provided in a timely and efficient manner. Continuation of the health insurance committee will be contingent upon a majority vote of members present at a meeting during the first two (2) weeks in June.
