Common use of HEAVY EQUIPMENT PREMIUM Clause in Contracts

HEAVY EQUIPMENT PREMIUM. 141. Employees in Class 7381 assigned to work on vehicles over one (1) ton shall be paid a Heavy Vehicle Premium of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour. Employees shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours' Heavy Vehicle Premium when assigned to work on heavy vehicles four (4) hours or less. Employees shall be paid eight (8) hours’ Heavy Vehicle Premium when assigned to work on heavy vehicles for more than four (4) hours or shall be paid for all hours actually worked on heavy vehicles, whichever is greater.

Employees shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours' Heavy Vehicle Premium when assigned to work on heavy vehicles four (4) hours or less. Employees shall be paid eight (8) hours’ Heavy Vehicle Premium when assigned to work on heavy vehicles for more than four (4) hours or shall be paid for all hours actually worked on heavy vehicles, whichever is greater. Effective 12/27/08, the Heavy Vehicle Premium will be forty-five cents ($0.45) per hour.
