Higher Paying Positions Within the Bargaining Unit. Where an employee is assigned temporarily to perform the duties and assume the responsibilities of a higher paying position in the bargaining unit they shall be paid the rate of the higher paying position corresponding to their placement on the wage grid relative to their current rate from the commencement of the shift on which they were assigned the job.
