Common use of Holiday Credit Accumulation Clause in Contracts

Holiday Credit Accumulation. Employees may accumulate holiday credit up to a maximum of eighty (80) hours. All accrued holiday time in excess of eighty (80) hours in any bi-weekly pay period shall be paid to the employee at their straight-time hourly rate. Holiday credit may be taken by the employee at the discretion of the Department Head. Employees may use up to forty (40) hours of holiday accrual in conjunction with a scheduled vacation with the approval of the Department Head.
