Common use of Holiday Time Off Requests Clause in Contracts

Holiday Time Off Requests. A. Employees must request days off in advance sufficient for the Department to assure appropriate shift coverage, minimize operational impact, and provide continued public service. If denied, the reasons for the denial will be provided. B. The Employer may establish qualifying policies for determining which of the requests for a particular date will or will not be granted when the number of requests for a holiday, or personal holiday would impair operational necessity.
