Holidays 18. 2.1 General Eligibility An employee who is in a paid status on their last regular work day before or after a holiday shall be eligible for the holiday pay. An employee in a position which has a less than twelve (12)-month work year is not eligible for the Independence Day and the Juneteenth holiday pay unless the employee is in a paid status the day before or after the holidayIndependence Day. This is not intended, nor may it be construed to modify eligibility of a seasonal employee to that holiday.
