hosting costs. Those yearly costs which the rate is apportioned to the specific agency named in the Statement of Work based on storage size, transaction activity, and other calculated user factors. This yearly fee covers the cost of hosting the application on servers in Helena pursuant to an existing agreement established and maintained with State of Montana SITSD and are subject to escalations provided for in the agreement. Total cost for this hosting fee is composed of 2 components. First, a flat, apportioned rate for environments placed on the servers. Second, a per GB storage rate applied in increments of 5 GB, i.e. 0-5 GB, 5-10 GB, etc. At the end of each calendar year the present storage space required by the agency will be recorded and if the reported storage amount in use is at or within 20 % of the current increment’s upper level the next year’s GB increment will be increased to the next increment or to the increment for which the storage report falls. For example if in year one the agency is paying at an increment of 0-5 GB and the reported use is 4GB (within 20%) then the next years new increment will be set at 5-10 GB. Another example, if the agency is currently paying at an increment of 0-5 GB and the end-of-the-year report determines an actual usage of 13GB the new increment will move to 10-15GB.
