Hotel Time Periods / Option for Extensions. None of the time periods in this Agreement set forth above in Section 4.2, 4.3, 5.7.7.2, 5.7.7.3, 5.7.7.4 or 5.7.7.5 shall be enforceable against SED in the event that the City extends the term of the Phase Two Property Lease and/or the Phase Two Property Vacation. In the event that the City has not extended the term of the Phase Two Property Lease and/or the Phase Two Property Vacation and SED does not obtain a building permit for construction of the Hotel within the time required by this Agreement, then SED may at its sole and absolute discretion, extend the time period it has to apply for and obtain a building permit for construction of the Hotel for two (2) consecutive one (1) year periods. In order for SED to extend the time period as stated herein, SED must, prior to the expiration of the time period it intends to extend, provide the City with written notice of its election to exercise its option to extend together with a pre-payment in the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) for the first one year option to extend and Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) for the second one year option to extend.

  • Compensation for Holidays Worked a. With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked. In addition, an eligible employee shall receive either compensatory time off or holiday pay at the option of the University at the regular straight-time rate, including any shift differential.

Executive, administrative and professional employees designated in the Annual Salary Ordinance with the "Z" symbol shall not receive extra compensation for holiday work but may be granted time off equivalent to the time worked at the rate of-one-and-one-half times for work on the holiday.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.

  • Compensation for Work on Holidays 1. An employee who is required to work on Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx.'s Birthday, Xxxxxxx's Birthday or Washington's Birthday and who meets the eligibility requirements contained herein shall receive his or her regular pay for each hour worked. Work performed on a holiday which is overtime as defined in Article I, Section 1.A., shall be compensated as provided in Article I, Section 2.C.1.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an employee's vacation period, he/she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and employee.

  • Commencement of Service The Company hereby engages the Executive as President and Director and the Executive hereby agrees to such service on the terms and conditions described in this Agreement. The Executive is being engaged directly by the Company as an Executive who will be compensated for the services rendered as herein provided. This replacement Executive Service Agreement with the Company will commence on January 1, 2013 (the effective date of this contract).
