Hours, Breaks, and Lunches. 5.2.1 The regular work week for unit members shall not exceed forty (40) hours; the regular work day shall not exceed eight (8) hours. The workweek shall consist of not more than five (5) consecutive work days for any employee having an average workday of four (4) hours or more during the workweek. (Education Code §45131).
