Hours in the Curriculum. In the first year 80 hours including lectures, exercises and seminars. In the second year 40 hours including only lectures and exercises. Method of Learning See introduction Assessment Methods Students in the first surgical year are assessed at the end of term and there is only pass without xxxx. After the second year all students have to take an examination composed of practical and theoretical parts. There are many various surgical diseases being considered during the practical exercises and we try to do close liaison between assistant, students and Heads of the Surgical Department. This allows for evaluation of the theoretical knowledge.
Hours in the Curriculum. The course consists of 100 hours. In the 4th semester the course consists of 10 hours of lectures, 6 hours of seminars and 24 hours of practical sessions. In the 10th semester the course consists of 8 hours of lectures, 10 hours of seminars and 42 hours of practical sessions.
Hours in the Curriculum. The odontological clinical sciences are studied and practised from the 2nd semester and continues thereafter throughout the programme. They are integrated with basic sciences and medical clinical sciences and make during the second semester 40 % of the time available. This time increases gradually and makes during the 5th semester 50 % and during the last years around 70 % of the time available.
