For all shifts commencing between the hours of 6:00 and a .m night time differential over and above the job classification will be paid to those Regular Employees who work such shifts at fifty cents per hour. 8 .2 a. Overtime work shall be assigned according to seniority, provided the senior person is qualified to do the work, within the various work classifications, in a voluntary manner. Exception being made to a specific individual. Employees may decline overtime on a seniority basis within the classification, providing there are otheremployees in that classification. In such cases where there is more than one
(1) employee in the classification, the junior employee cannot decline working overtime. All hours worked on the employee's designated day of rest will be at their place deemed overtime and paid for as follows: Time and one-half (1 times the employee's regular rate of workpay.
a. Employees reporting for work on a call-out or basis, ready inconsistent with the employee's regularwork shift day, shall be guaranteed a minimum of three (3) hours work and/or pay, but after the completion of the duty he or she is called for, the employee may book off with a minimum of two (2) hours pay. Pay under this Article means the applicable overtime rate of one and one-half (1%) times the hourly rate of pay for the first three (3) hours.
