Illness in Employee’s Immediate Family. An employee may utilize paid sick days 32 because of an illness in the employee’s immediate family (as defined by applicable 33 County rules and regulations) that reasonably requires the employee’s attendance.

Illness in Employee’s Immediate Family. An employee may utilize paid 28 sick days 32 because of an illness in the employee’s immediate family (as defined by 29 applicable 33 County rules and regulations) that reasonably requires the employee’s 30 attendance. The County may request that the employee provide a note from the medical 31 provider that verifies the illness.
