Common use of Illness of Dependents Clause in Contracts

Illness of Dependents. For the purpose of this clause, dependent shall mean: a) minor dependent; b) totally dependent live-in designated relative Leave with pay to a maximum of three (3) days per any one (1) contract year will be granted in cases of illness, out of town medical/dental assistance, medical/dental appointments and/or medical/dental emergencies of dependents. The foregoing three (3) days will be allowed per employee and may be used for any combination of the above cases relating to dependents.
