Union Facilities. The Union shall be:
(a) provided with access to printing and duplicating facilities;
(b) able to purchase stationery and other office supplies from British Columbia Institute of Technology at the same rate as supplied to the internal user;
(c) provided a parking permit to allow easy access to the administration building;
(d) have temporary use of an office for the investigation of grievances.
Union Facilities. 2.1.9.1 The Employer shall provide the Union with a suitable furnished office within the Institute facilities and access to services necessary to conduct business. Any change in location shall be by mutual agreement between the Employer and the Union. The Employer agrees to provide access to the Union's office facilities as required and through the normal Institute procedures.
2.1.9.2 The Union shall be able to purchase stationery and other office supplies from the Central Stores of BCIT at the same rate that these are supplied to the teaching Departments of the Institute.
2.1.9.3 Access to printing and duplicating facilities shall be provided to the Union in the same manner.
2.1.9.4 Telephone service through the Institute switchboard shall be provided to the Union in the same manner.
2.1.9.5 Reserve parking shall be provided for at least two cars in the present spaces, or at Management's option substitute spaces satisfactory to the Union, at no more than the going rate for areas reserved for administration officials.
2.1.9.6 The Employer agrees to provide bulletin board facilities for the exclusive use of the Union, the sites to be determined by the Union. Except for the three (3) bulletin boards already authorized, the Union agrees to pay purchase and installation costs of its own bulletin boards.
Union Facilities. (a) The Union will be entitled to hold meetings with Union members during work breaks, provided that appropriate prior notice of meeting times and arrangements for such meetings are provided to the University.
(b) The University will provide for the deduction of Union dues from salary at a rate or amount advised from time to time as payable under the Union’s rules, where this has been authorised by the staff member either before or after the commencement of this Agreement. There will be no charge to the staff member for this service. The staff member or the Union are entitled to cancel the arrangement by advice in writing.
Union Facilities. 45.1 In addition to the provisions contained in clause 36 (5) (e) of the applicable Award, the employer shall provide the union with time to discuss the benefits of union membership with new employees as part of the employee’s formal induction program.

The Company agrees to provide the Union with a suitable Bulletin Board on which it may post notices, provided such Union notices deal with meetings, election of officers, appointment of committees and other non-controversial matters concerning the affairs of Local 502, U.A.W. The Company will provide the Union officials with office space, as well as telephone and computer services, for use in conjunction with performance of their duties under the terms of the Agreement.
Union Facilities. Each ITV Company shall offer all reasonable facilities for accredited full-time officials of the Union to visit members of the Union in the studios or places of rehearsal. In the interests of safety and security wherever practicable the accredited officials shall notify the ITV Company of their intention to visit the studios or places of rehearsal.
Union Facilities. In consultation with the unions, the employer will make facilities available for member meetings of trade unions, such as meeting rooms and use of electronic and conventional bulletin boards.
Union Facilities. 1. The employer will contact trade unions in case of a proposed dismissal other than for an urgent reason or in the event of a proposed transfer to another property if requested by one or more of the employees concerned.
2. If requested by the union(s) at least 2 weeks in advance, the employer will grant leave of absence with pay for executives other than in serious business circumstances, which will be made known to the union(s). The employer can claim the cost of this absence from the RAS.
3. Trade unions will be given the opportunity to train up to 10 executives, spread across different companies, for 1 month during the term of the collective agreement, with pay. Leave costs, as a result of participation in this training course, can be claimed by the employer from the RAS. Unions should request this at least 2 weeks in advance. The employer will allow this unless serious business circumstances oppose it, which will be made known to the trade union(s)
4. Trade unions have the opportunity to hold consultations with workers in the property’s assembly room in compliance with the following rules: - union work takes place outside working hours and the progress of work is not impeded - the intention to visit a property is communicated to the employer at least 2 days in advance - there will be no interference, observation or recording of employees attending the union meeting.
Union Facilities. Section 1 The Union shall be granted use of Office designated bulletin boards for notifications and communications unless such use is prohibited by applicable laws, rules or regulations or space is not available.
Section 2 The Union agrees that no libelous material directed toward any management official will be posted on bulletin boards. All material posted on the bulletin boards shall have the prior approval of the Union President.
Section 3 The Office will provide meeting space, when available, to the Union upon reasonable advance request. If not available, or if business exigencies require the use of the space already promised to the Union, the Office agrees to offer space at other reasonable times.
Section 4 The Office will provide the Union with a personal computer and printer of the same general type and capability as currently used by bargaining unit members, for us in fulfilling its representational duties. The Office will provide the Union locked storage space of approximately 50 square feet.
Section 5 The Office agrees to allow the Union officers, Executive Committee and designated Union representatives the use of a designated photocopy machine to make copies of material directly related to their representational duties when the photocopier is not being used for normal business. The Union will be given a designated code to be entered into the photocopy machine whenever it used by the Union. Use of the photocopy machine does not extend to any material relating to the Union's internal affairs. If the copy machine designated for the Union's use is not available for an extended period of time, the Union will be permitted to use an alternative machine as designated by the Office.
Section 6 Union representatives, in connection with matters covered by this agreement, may use one designated facsimile machine for the transmittal of written materials. Use of the facsimile machine is limited and does not extend to any matter relating to the Union's internal affairs. Further, transmissions from the facsimile machine are limited to the Washington D.C. area. The Union will be given a designated code to be entered into the facsimile machine whenever it is used by the Union. If the facsimile machine designated for the Union's use is not available for an extended period of time, the Union will be permitted to use an alternate machine as designated by the Office.
