For purposes of this section, immediate family member is defined as the employee’s spouse, domestic partner, parent (including biological, adoptive or xxxxxx parent, parent-in-law, or parent of domestic partner), child (including biological, adopted, step or xxxxxx child, child-in-law or child of domestic partner), brother, sister, grandparent or grandchild.
