Common use of In Connection With Scheduled Hours of Work Clause in Contracts

In Connection With Scheduled Hours of Work. If an employee is scheduled or assigned in accordance with this Agreement to work overtime either before or after but consecutive with their scheduled hours of work, as defined in Clause 4.58, such employee shall be paid for a minimum of one-half (1/2) hour at applicable overtime rates, except as expressly provided otherwise by Clause 16.10 below. Time worked beyond the first one-half (1/2) hour of such overtime shall be recorded and paid to the next higher one-quarter (1/4) hour, inclusive of paid meal periods.
