Common use of IN PAY Clause in Contracts

IN PAY. If an employee has left the plant, and is called back to take care of an emergency, and such hours do not extend into his normal shift, he will receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at the premium rate. Such employees will be assigned only to emergency work or other emergency work which arose after his arrival. In the event that a portion of the emergency four (4) hours extends into his regular shift, he will be paid for such portion at the premium rate. ARTICLE
