Holidays Falling on Scheduled Day Off. ‌ Whenever the actual holiday or the observed holiday falls on an employee’s regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall be allowed to use eight (8) hours, in one (1) hour increments, at anytime before the end of the year. If both the actual holiday and the observed holiday occur on regularly scheduled days off the employee shall be granted only eight (8) hours off with pay. Unused holidays granted under this provision shall have no cash value.

Holidays Falling on Scheduled Day Off. When any of the above noted holidays falls on an employees scheduled day off, the employee shall receive an extra day’s regular pay for the holiday or another day off at a later date. Such scheduled day off to be mutually agreed between employer and employee, but must be booked by December 1st and used by March 31st of the following year. Stat Holiday credits earned in the month of December, may be carried forward into the next year but must be booked by January 31st and taken before March 31st of that year. Statutory holiday credit takes precedence over vacation requests if already booked.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.

Compensatory leave eligible employees are paid for the number of hours prescheduled plus credited with holiday compensatory time for the number of hours actually worked, which must be used within one (1) year after having accrued this time.   • WORKING DAY BEFORE AUCTION DATE Any intending bidder who intends to bid on behalf of another person, body corporate or firm is required to deposit with the Auctioneer prior to the auction sale an authority letter to state that he/she is acting on behalf of another person, body corporate or firm and he/she is authorised to sign all the necessary documents. All intending bidders shall be required to verify their identities by showing to the Auctioneer their identity cards prior to the commencement of the auction, failing which, they shall not be entitled to bid. In the event that the Bumiputra lot is sold to a non Bumiputra or if the successful bidder is below the age of 18 or is an undischarged bankrupt or is not legally competent to purchase the property, then such sale shall be cancelled and the deposit paid shall be refunded to the successful bidder and thereafter the Assignee shall be at liberty to put up the property for sale. A foreign citizen/foreign company may be allowed to bid for the property and if the bid is successful, the sale is subject to the foreign citizen/company applying and obtaining at his/her/its own cost to the Economic Planning Unit (if applicable) and/or relevant State Authority for the unconditional consent to the sale within the period stated in Clause 11 hereof but subject to Clause 22 hereof.

  • Payment on non-Business Day If any payment by the Borrower under a Finance Document would otherwise fall due on a day which is not a Business Day: (a) the due date shall be extended to the next succeeding Business Day; or (b) if the next succeeding Business Day falls in the next calendar month, the due date shall be brought forward to the immediately preceding Business Day, and interest shall be payable during any extension under paragraph (a) at the rate payable on the original due date.
