INCIDENTS WHEN HCPH IS INTEGRATED INTO AN ICS STRUCTURE Sample Clauses

INCIDENTS WHEN HCPH IS INTEGRATED INTO AN ICS STRUCTURE. LED BY ANOTHER AGENCY For incidents in which HCPH is integrated into an existing ICS structure led by another agency, HCPH provides personnel and resources to support that agency’s response. HCPH staff may be assigned to assist a local government under the direction of a local incident management system or may be assigned to various roles or tasks within a regional, state or federal incident command system. Assigned HCPH staff may serve in any ICS role, except for Incident Commander. With regard to the incident, these staff and resources ultimately report to the Incident Commander. The Health Commissioner may, at any time, recall such integrated staff or resources. If such support is needed, HCPH will determine the appropriate activation level and assign an AC to lead the integration activities. In such responses, the Planning Support Section Chief will track engagement of HCPH staff and resources and ensure that parameters for their utilization are communicated to both the integrated staff and the receiving Incident Commander. Integrated staff must refuse any directive from the IC that contradicts the parameters established for their utilization and notify the AC of any attempt to circumvent the established parameters, as well as of any unapproved use of HCPH resources. The AC will then work with the incident’s IC to determine an appropriate resolution.

  • Loop Provisioning Involving Integrated Digital Loop Carriers 2.6.1 Where InterGlobe has requested an Unbundled Loop and BellSouth uses IDLC systems to provide the local service to the End User and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make such alternative facilities available to InterGlobe. If a suitable alternative facility is not available, then to the extent it is technically feasible, BellSouth will implement one of the following alternative arrangements for InterGlobe (e.g. hairpinning):

  • Where BellSouth uses Integrated Digital Loop Carrier (IDLC) systems to provide the local loop and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make arrangements to permit OnePoint to order a contiguous local loop. To the extent it is technically feasible, these arrangements will provide OnePoint with the capability to serve end users at a level that is at parity with the level of service BellSouth provides its customers. If no alternate facility is available, BellSouth will utilize its Special Construction (SC) process to determine the additional costs required to provision the loop facilities. OnePoint will then have the option of paying the one-time SC rates to place the loop facilities or OnePoint may chose some other method of providing service to the end-user (e.g., Resale, private facilities, etc.).

  • Integrated Digital Loop Carriers The feeder portion of some loops may be provide by means of Integrated Digital Loop Carrier (IDLC). IDLC provides a fiber optic cable transmission path that travels directly into BellSouth’s central office local switch. Where BellSouth uses IDLC ,if technically feasible and capacity does exist, BST will provide Al-Call with a Designed DS0 UVL by using alternative provisioning techniques including but not limited to such as “hairpinning” and DAC grooming. Alternative provisioning techniques will be provided at no additional cost to Al-Call . Hairpinning involves providing a DS0 signal from an IDLC-served loop to Al-Call ’s collocation equipment by using a dedicated pathway that traverses BellSouth’s central office switch. BellSouth will provide such DS0 signal to Al-Call by establishing a copper cross connect between the BellSouth switch and Al-Call ’s collocation equipment.
