Common use of Industrial Relations Training Clause in Contracts

Industrial Relations Training. (a) In order to encourage co-operative workplace relations and facilitate the operation of this Agreement, Employees who have been selected by their union(s) to attend training courses on industrial relations and/or health and safety shall be entitled to a maximum of five days paid leave per calendar year for that purpose, providing that agency operating requirements permit the granting of such leave. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.
