Informal Discussion of Grievance. Within seven (7) business days from the occurrence of the matter on which a complaint is based, or within seven (7) business days from his/her knowledge of such occurrence, an employee shall informally discuss the matter with their immediate supervisor. If after such a discussion, the grievance has not been satisfactorily resolved, the employee shall have the right to file a formal grievance.

Informal Discussion of Grievance. Within seven (7) business days from the occurrence of the matter on which a complaint is based, or within seven (7) business days from his/her knowledge of such occurrence, When an employee has a complaint, the employee shall first informally discuss the matter with their the employee's immediate supervisor within fifteen (15) calendar ten (10) working days from the date of the incident or decision generating the grievance. If, after a discussion with the immediate supervisor, the complaint has not been satisfactorily resolved, the employee shall have the right to discuss the complaint informally with the supervisor's immediate superior, within five (5) working days from the discussion with the immediate supervisor. If If, after such a discussion, the grievance complaint has not been satisfactorily resolved, the employee shall have the right to file a formal grievance.
