Informal Discussion of Grievance. ‌ 2.1 When an employee has a complaint, the employee and/or the employee's designated representative shall first informally discuss the matter with the employee's immediate supervisor within ten (10) working days from the incident or decision generating the grievance. 2.2 If after discussion with the immediate supervisor, the complaint has not been satisfactorily resolved, the employee and/or employee's designated representative shall have the right to discuss the complaint with the supervisor's immediate superior. 2.3 If after such a discussion, the complaint has not been satisfactorily resolved, the employee shall have the right to file a formal, written grievance pursuant to Section 3 of this Article.
