Initial and Return Travel. Employees directed or dispatched to work from which they do not return daily shall be paid travel allowance for initial travel and transportation to the project and return upon termination of the job or his employment based upon a radius from the cities in which Local Unions are centered, as applicable, as follows: (i) up to 200 kilometers - $45.00 each way; (ii) 200 kilometers to 300 kilometers - $65.00 each way; (iii) 300 kilometers to 400 kilometers - $80.00 each way; (iv) over 400 kilometers - scheduled airline air fare or as mutually agreed. Notwithstanding the above, for projects located in the Ft. XxXxxxxx, Peace River and Grande Prairie areas initial and return travel allowance shall be negotiated, as to amount paid, on a project by project basis but in no event to exceed scheduled airline air fare.

Initial and Return Travel. Employees directed or dispatched to work from which they do not return daily shall be paid travel allowance for initial travel and transportation to the project and return upon termination of the job or employment based upon a radius from the cities in which Local Unions are centered, as applicable, as follows: (i) up to 200 kilometers - $88.00 each way; (ii) 201 kilometers to 300 kilometers - $124.00 each way; (iii) 301 kilometers to 375 kilometers - $150.00 each way; (iv) over 375 kilometers to 475 kilometers - $224.00 each way, or actual Airfare if suitable proof of air transport is provided to the Employer. (v) over 475 kilometers - as mutually agreed between the Parties to this Agreement to a maximum of $344.00 each way or air fare inclusive of taxes in the event this is the most practical method of accessing the project/jobsite.

  • NON-TEACHING DUTIES The Board and the Association acknowledge that a teacher's primary responsibility is to teach, and that his/her energies should be utilized to this end. It is agreed that teachers will be relieved of non-teaching duties to the extent possible and practical through the use of non-teaching personnel to perform clerical-type tasks and supervise playgrounds and lunchrooms.

  • Multi-Year Planning The CAPS will be in a form acceptable to the LHIN and may be required to incorporate (1) prudent multi-year financial forecasts; (2) plans for the achievement of performance targets; and (3) realistic risk management strategies. It will be aligned with the LHIN’s then current Integrated Health Service Plan and will reflect local LHIN priorities and initiatives. If the LHIN has provided multi-year planning targets for the HSP, the CAPS will reflect the planning targets.

  • Professional Development Funds 23.1.1 Two Professional Development Funds, a Professional Development Support Fund and an Education Leave Fund, shall be established to support professional development activities as defined in 23.2. On April 1st of each year, the College will allocate an amount equal to no less than 0.9% of total faculty salary (exclusive of severance payments) to the Professional Development Support Fund, and an amount equal to no less than 0.6% of total faculty salary to the Educational Leave Fund. Any unused balances in these funds shall carry over to the next budget year. 23.1.2 The College agrees to provide the Association with the authority to administer the program on behalf of the College for those activities approved by the College in accordance with 23.2, 23.4 and 23.5. 23.1.3 Nothing in this Agreement prevents the College from funding professional development activities in addition to those activities supported through the Professional Development Funds (23.1.1) in accordance with the procedures described in this Article.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY The UNIVERSITY shall designate in writing a faculty member to coordinate with a designee of the FIELDWORK SITE.

  • Sales and Transfer Taxes Seller and Purchaser shall be equally responsible for the payment of all transfer, recording, documentary, stamp, sales, use (including all bulk sales Taxes) and other similar Taxes and fees (collectively, the “Transfer Taxes”), that are payable or that arise as a result of the P&A Transaction, when due. Seller shall file any Tax Return that is required to be filed in respect of Transfer Taxes described in this Section 8.3 when due, and Purchaser shall cooperate with respect thereto as necessary.

  • Ancillary and Travel Expenses A. Except as otherwise provided in the Grant Agreement, no ancillary expenses incurred by the Grantee in connection with its provision of the services or deliverables will be reimbursed by the System Agency.   • Working Alone (a) Where an employee is employed under conditions which present a significant hazard of disabling injury, and when the employee might not be able to secure assistance in the event of an injury or other misfortunes, the Employer shall provide a means of periodically checking the well being of the employee. Checks shall be made at such intervals and by such means as are appropriate to the nature, hazard and circumstances of the employment. (b) The frequency of employee checks shall be increased proportionate to the nature of the hazard under which the employee is working. For example, extreme weather conditions; as the temperature decreases, the frequency of checks shall increase.
