Injuries and Risk Awareness. All teachers at Hot Yoga Oxenford, including any workshop and special guest teachers, are qualified in yoga and/or their respective field of teaching. To ensure that your risk of injury is minimised during your participation in class we require you to follow the instructions of our teachers. All Hot Yoga Oxenford staff are trained and qualified in basic First Aid and CPR but are not medically trained and are therefore not qualified to assess or diagnose student conditions or fitness for practice. Participation in any form of exercise at Hot Yoga Oxenford studio is done entirely at your own risk. Prior to your first class, you MUST advise studio staff if there are any possible risks to your mental and/or physical health by engaging in the practice of yoga. This includes, but is not limited to, any pre-existing injuries, illnesses, conditions, and/or pregnancies. If you have a current medical condition, you are required to seek medical advice and approval prior to the commencement of a yoga practice. Hot Yoga Oxenford reserves the right to request written confirmation from a medical practitioner or specialist prior to your participation in our classes. Hot Yoga Oxenford does not accept liability for any injury, illness, damage, or loss of any kind, sustained directly or indirectly by you in relation to participating in any class or event at the studio.

  • High Risk Activities 1. The Software is not fault-tolerant and is not designed, manufactured or intended for use or resale as on-line control equipment in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance, such as in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communication systems, air traffic control, direct life support machines, or weapons systems, in which the failure of the Software could lead directly to death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage ("High Risk Activities"). Syncro and its suppliers specifically disclaim any express or implied warranty of fitness for High Risk Activities.

  • Accidents and Dangerous Occurrences The Hirer must report all accidents involving injury to the public to a member of the Village Hall management committee as soon as possible and complete the relevant section in the Village Hall’s accident book. Any failure of equipment belonging to the Village Hall or brought in by the Hirer must also be reported as soon as possible. Certain types of accident or injury must be reported on a special form to the local authority. The Hall Secretary will give assistance in completing this form. This is in accordance with the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR).

  • High Risk Use Npcap is not designed, manufactured, or intended for use in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance where the failure of the software could lead directly to death, personal injury, or significant physical or environmental damage (“High Risk Activities”). Use of Npcap in High Risk Activities is not authorized.

  • Management of Special and Technical Environment Each certificated support person demonstrates an acceptable level of performance in managing and organizing the special materials, equipment and environment essential to the specialized programs.

  • Geological and Archeological Specimens If, during the execution of the Work, the Contractor, any Subcontractor, or any servant, employee, or agent of either should uncover any valuable material or materials, such as, but not limited to, treasure trove, geological specimens, archival material, archeological specimens, or ore, the Contractor acknowledges that title to the foregoing is vested in the Owner. The Contractor shall notify the Owner upon the discovery of any of the foregoing, shall take reasonable steps to safeguard it, and seek further instruction from the Design Professional. Any additional cost incurred by the Contractor shall be addressed under the provision for changed conditions. The Contractor agrees that the Geological and Water Resources Division and the Historic Preservation Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources may inspect the Work at reasonable times.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Injuries In the event of an incident or accident involving outside medical care for an individual on or near the Work, Contractor shall notify the ODR and other parties as may be directed within 24 hours of the event.

  • VOLUNTEERS AND STUDENT WORKERS The Employer will utilize volunteers and student workers only to the extent they supplement and do not supplant bargaining unit employees. Volunteers and student workers will not supervise bargaining unit employees.

  • Employees At-Risk Through Medication Use 5.1 Employees who are taking medication which might affect their ability to undertake any kind of work safely, should advise an OH&S representative or the First Aid Officer, who will act immediately to eliminate the risks.

  • ON THE JOB INJURIES An employee who suffers a work-related illness or injury must report that illness or injury to his or her supervisor within twenty-four (24) hours, unless the employee is prevented by incapacity from doing so. If the illness or injury is one for which time-loss payments are provided through the workers’ compensation system, the employee may choose to receive only such time-loss payment, or may choose to use paid leave in combination with workers’ compensation benefits as follows:
