Instant Order Place (IOP) Sample Clauses

Instant Order Place (IOP). Instant Order Place offers a convenient way to manually augment the Semi Autopilot or Full Autopilot order execution. It works with the Automatic Order Entry (AOE), which is available as an option in Deluxe Plus, by allowing you to manually override the AOE signals in situations where you desire more control over a trade. To use this feature to enter an order manually, click on , the Instant Order Execution virtual keyboard icon in the toolbar, to bring up the Instant Order Place dialog box. In the Instant Order Place dialog box, enter the price at which you want your order executed. Then place a check next to Manual Override, and enter the contract size or number of shares in the Size field. Now specify the type of order you want executed: Market, Limit, or Stop order. Click on Buy to manually enter a long position or exit a short position, or click on Sell to manually close a long position or enter a short position. With some trading platforms, you must click on Short to enter a short position; otherwise you can ignore the button labeled Short. The orders that are generated by the Instant Order Place window will be placed in the AOE module. Depending on whether you have selected the “Semi Autopilot” or “Full Autopilot” setting, the AOE module will process your IOP orders accordingly. Where “Semi Autopilot” has been selected, while the correct information will have been entered into your order form by the system, you must transmit your orders yourself by going to your brokerage window and manually entering your order. With “Full Autopilot selected, eASCTrend will transmit the order for you. When you close the Instant Order Place (IOP) window, a dialog box pops up, giving you the option to turn on or off the Enable Auto Execution setting (EAE status). The purpose of this window is to make sure the software understands your intention, while offering a convenient way to switch between manual and automatic order execution. Please refer to the following table to see how this works: EAE status before IOP Question upon leaving IOP Selection EAE status after IOP On You have turned OFF AOE. Are you sure?
