INSURANCE - BASIC COVERAGES REQUIRED. The Contractor shall procure and maintain the following described insurance, except for coverages specifically waived by the County. Such policies shall be from insurers with a minimum financial size of VII according to the latest edition of the AM Best Rating Guide. An A or better Best Rating is "preferred"; however, other ratings if "Secure Best Ratings" may be considered. Such policies shall provide coverages for any or all claims which may arise out of, or result from, the services, work and operations carried out pursuant to and under the requirements of the Contract Documents, whether such services, work and operations be by the Contractor, its employees, or by subcontractor(s), or anyone employed by or under the supervision of any of them, or for whose acts any of them may be legally liable. The Contractor shall require, and shall be responsible for assuring throughout the time the Agreement is in effect, that any and all of its subcontractors obtain and maintain until the completion of that subcontractor’s work, such of the insurance coverages described herein as are required by law to be provided on behalf of their employees and others. The required insurance shall be obtained and written for not less than the limits of liability specified hereinafter, or as required by law, whichever is greater. These insurance requirements shall not limit the liability of the Contractor. The County does not represent these types or amounts of insurance to be sufficient or adequate to protect the Contractor’s interests or liabilities, but are merely minimums. Except for workers compensation and professional liability, the Contractor’s insurance policies shall be endorsed to name Escambia County as an additional insured to the extent of its interests arising from this agreement, contract or lease. The Contractor waives its right of recovery against the County, to the extent permitted by its insurance policies. The Contractor’s deductibles/self-insured retentions shall be disclosed to the County and may be disapproved by the County. They shall be reduced or eliminated at the option of the County. The Contractor is responsible for the amount of any deductible or self- insured retention. Insurance required of the Contractor or any other insurance of the Contractor shall be considered primary, and insurance of the County, if any, shall be considered excess, as may be applicable to claims obligations which arise out of this agreement, contract or lease.

These insurance requirements shall in no way limit the liability of the Other Party. The City does not represent these minimum insurance requirements to be sufficient or adequate to protect the Other Party’s interests or liabilities, but are merely minimums. "Except for workers’ compensation and professional liability, the Other Party's insurance policies shall be endorsed to name the City of Lakeland as additional insured. It is agreed that the Other Party's insurance shall be deemed primary and non-contributory with respect to any insurance or self-insurance carried by The City of Lakeland for liability arising out of the operations of this agreement."   • The General Liability and Property Damage coverages required for performance of this Agreement shall include the State of Vermont and its agencies, departments, officers and employees as Additional Insureds. If performance of this Agreement involves construction, or the transport of persons or hazardous materials, then the required Automotive Liability coverage shall include the State of Vermont and its agencies, departments, officers and employees as Additional Insureds. Coverage shall be primary and non-contributory with any other insurance and self-insurance.

  • Insurance Required At all times throughout the Lease Term, including, when indicated herein, during the Construction Period, if any, the Company shall, at its sole cost and expense, maintain or cause to be maintained insurance against such risks and for such amounts as are customarily insured against by facilities of like size and type and shall pay or cause to be paid, as the same become due and payable, all premiums with respect thereto, including, but not necessarily limited to:

  • Duration of Insurance Contribution An employee is eligible for School District contributions as provided in this Article as long as an employee is employed by the School District. Employees whose employment terminates during the school year will be eligible for insurance and district contributions to insurance through the end of the month in which they terminate provided they pay the employee portion of the insurance premium for that month. Otherwise, the employee’s insurance will terminate as of the last day of employment.

If CONTRACTOR sub-contracts in support of CONTRACTOR’S work provided for in the agreement, Professional Liability Insurance for Errors shall be provided by the sub-contractor in an amount not less than one million dollars ($1,000,000) in aggregate. The insurance coverage provided by the CONTRACTOR shall contain language providing coverage up to one (1) year following completion of the contract in order to provide insurance coverage for the hold harmless provisions herein if the policy is a claims-made policy.

  • Excess Liability Insurance $___________________ minimum required insurance policy for anything other than General Liability or Automobile coverage. ☐ - Additional Insurance Requirement: Client, Contractor, and any other entity which the Contractor is required to name as an additional insured under the Prime Contract shall be named as additional insureds under the General Liability Insurance required by this Section and any such insurance afforded to the additional insureds shall apply as primary insurance. Any other insurance maintained by the Client or Contractor shall be excess insurance and shall not be called upon to contribute to Subcontractor’s primary or excess insurance carrier’s duty to defend or indemnify unless required by law. This Section shall in no event be construed to require that additional insured insurance coverage be provided to a greater extent than permitted under the statutes or public policy governed under State law. Certificates of Insurance. Certificates of insurance, and the required additional insured and other endorsements, including waivers of subrogation shall be furnished to Contractor before the performance of any Services.
