Insurance Coverage While on Leave. Any employee on an authorized leave of absence without pay, shall be entitled to continue as an enrolled member of any insurance policy where authorized by the insurance contract set forth in this Article, provided such teacher has made arrangements satisfactory to the Superintendent for payment in full of the cost of such insurance program during his/her absence. If the insurance carrier allows payments to be made on a basis other than noted above, this will be approved by the Superintendent.
