Notices to Union. The Company shall mail, or fax, and/or e-mail (when documents do not require signatures) to the National Representative and Unit Chairperson one (1) copy of each of the following:
i) Within five (5) work days, notice of: hiring, dismissal, promotion or demotion of any employee within the bargaining unit; notice of extension of probationary period, report and reply as contained in Articles 2.5 and 2.6, suspension or any disciplinary action placed on an employee’s file within the bargaining unit;
ii) Any notice pertaining to the application or agreed interpretation of this Agreement;
iii) The Company will furnish two (2) copies of seniority records and wage information for negotiating purposes;
iv) The Company when notifying a person of his/her acceptance as an employee, shall provide the Union with information as outlined in Article 4.1 (i) through (iii).
Notices to Union. All orders or notice to an employee under this Agreement involving a permanent change in assignment, promotion, or lay-off, and leaves of absences shall be given in writing with a copy of same sent to the union office.
Notices to Union. The President of the Union will be furnished notices of all examinations for new employment and promotional opportunities.
Notices to Union. A copy shall be sent to the Union office of any notice, directive or bulletin relating to teachers generally or to any substantial group of teachers.
Notices to Union. The Employer shall promptly notify the Union President in writing of the names of employees who are laid off for lack of work, recalled to work after such layoffs or discharged for cause. For the purpose of the time limits specified in Section 2 of Article VI and Section 1(a) of Article VII the delivery of such written notice shall constitute knowledge of such action and the time limits shall date from such delivery.

(a) Within five (5) calendar days (exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays, or general holidays) notice of hiring, dismissal, promotion or demotion of any employee within the bargaining unit;
(b) Notice of extension of probationary period, report and reply as contained in Article 7, suspension or any disciplinary action placed on an employee’s file within the bargaining unit;
(c) Any notice pertaining to the application or agreed interpretation of this Agreement ;
(d) The Company will furnish, upon request by the Union, two (2) copies of seniority records and wage information for negotiating purposes.
4.3.1 Information Package for new employees - A new employee shall be provided with a copy the Collective Agreement and a written statement from the Company indicating the employee's rate of pay, classification and any other special commitments agreed to by the Company.
Notices to Union. The Company shall mail to the Union one copy of the following:
(a) Notice of hiring, dismissal, promotion, or demotion of any employee within the bargaining unit.
(b) Notice of extension of probationary period, suspension, or any disciplinary action placed on an employee’s file within the bargaining unit, unless the employee requests otherwise, in writing, and a copy of this request will be faxed to the Union within five(5) working days.
(c) Any notice directed to employees pertaining to a change in the application or agreed interpretation of this Agreement.
(d) The Company shall, when notifying a person of his/her acceptance as a employee, provide and Employment Letter detailing the starting rate of pay and the classification to which he/she is assigned. The letter may also contain Company policies. A copy of this notice shall be sent to the Union. The Company shall also include, at the same time, a copy of the current Collective Agreement, which shall be supplied by the Union.
(e) The Company will provide as electronic report to include information requirements to reduce the need to provide paper and improve overall information received. Language will be updated based on union’s approval of the electronic report.
Notices to Union. (a) Copies of all directives affecting employees within the jurisdiction of the union shall be sent to the union.
(b) Copies of all personnel actions (promotions, transfers, demotions, lay-off, discipline or discharge) shall be sent to the union.
Notices to Union. The Union shall be notified of all appointments, hirings, lay-offs, transfers, recalls and terminations of employment.
