Interrogation of Lodge Representatives. The Department will not question lodge representatives about conversations between those representatives and the employees they represent when those conversations occur in the ordinary course of the lodge representatives’ performance of their official duties on behalf of the FOP and its membership. This does not prohibit the Department from questioning a lodge representative when such representative’s conduct is the subject of an Internal Affairs investigation or when such representative is a witness to any conduct which is the subject of an Internal Affairs investigation.

  • Grievance Representatives Within 30 working days after the execution of this Agreement, the Union shall furnish the Xxxxxxx with a list of all persons authorized to act as the Chapter and UPI Local Grievance Representatives and shall update the list as changes occur. The designated Chapter Grievance Representative shall be an employee of the University and shall have the responsibility to meet classes, office hours, and other assigned duties and responsibilities. If the responsibilities of the Chapter Grievance Representative require rescheduling of the representative's University duties, the representative may, with the approval of the Xxxxxxx, arrange for the rescheduling of such duties or their coverage by colleagues. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. The provisions of Article 15.4. shall also apply to the UPI Local Grievance Representative if he or she is an employee of the University.

  • Nurse Representatives The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) Nurse Representatives for the purpose of dealing with grievances and conducting Union interviews.

  • Grievance Representative Employees presenting a grievance under Step 2 shall be represented by a representative of the Union.

  • Exclusive Representative The University recognizes UPTE-CWA 9119, which was certified by the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) on April 15, 1996 in SF-PC-1051-H as the sole and exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to wages, hours, and terms and conditions of employment for all employees, excluding employees defined by XXXXX as managerial, supervisory and/or confidential and all student employees whose employment is contingent upon their status as students, in the bargaining unit.

  • FACSIMILE REPRESENTATIONS The County and the Contractor hereby agree to regard facsimile representations of original signatures of authorized officers of each party, when appearing in appropriate places on the Amendments prepared pursuant to sub-paragraph 8.1, and received via communications facilities, as legally sufficient evidence that such original signatures have been affixed to Amendments to this Master Agreement, such that the parties need not follow up facsimile transmissions of such documents with subsequent (non-facsimile) transmission of “original” versions of such documents.

  • DEPARTMENT'S REPRESENTATIVE The Contract Administrator shall be the Department's representative during the period of this Contract. He/she has authority to curtail services if necessary to ensure proper execution. He/she shall certify to the Department when payments under the Contract are due and the amounts to be paid. He/she shall make decisions on all claims of the Provider, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of the Department.

  • Notice of Union Representative Visits The Union shall inform the Company when any representative of the Union intends to visit the worksite for the purpose of conducting Union business. Such visits will not disrupt employees working without the supervisor/manager’s permission.

  • Representatives and Notices Each Party nominates as its representative for this Agreement the person set out on the first page of this Agreement under ‘Contact for Notices’ (“Representative”). Any communication under this Agreement must be in writing and sent to the recipient Party’s Representative. MATERIALS In the event that a Party (Provider) provides the other Party (User) with Material: the Material will be solely owned by the Provider; the User must store, handle and use the Material in compliance with all applicable legislation, regulations, codes and guidelines; the User must use the Material solely for the purpose of the Project and for no other purpose; the User must not use the Material in human subjects; the User must not, without the prior written consent of the Subject: transfer, distribute or disclose the Material to any third party external to the User; use the Material for commercial, diagnostic or therapeutic purposes; acknowledges that the Material are: experimental in nature and may have defects, deficiencies and hazardous properties; provided by the Provider without warranty, express or implied, and to the full extent permitted by law, all warranties related to the Material are excluded; and stored, handled and used at the Users’ sole risk. To the extent that the Provider has any legal rights in the Material, the Provider grants to the User a non-exclusive royalty free, transferable, worldwide licence to use, adapt and modify the Material for the purpose of performing the Project and carrying out its obligations under this Agreement and in accordance with the relevant Clinical Subject consent. Following termination of a Project and upon receipt of a written request by the Provider, the User must promptly return to the Provider (at the Provider’s expense) or destroy any unused Materials.

  • Safety Representative On every job site, workers may elect a Workers’ Safety Representative in accordance with the Act.

  • Contractor Representative Contractor designates *** as the Contractor Representative. Notification of a change in Contractor Representative shall be provided in advance, in writing, to Owner. The Contractor Representative is a Key Person.
