Investigations of Student-on-Student Harassment. The District will develop procedures describing how staff will investigate complaints of student-on-student racial harassment or other racial discrimination, including how to: communicate with affected parties using trauma-informed interviewing skills; gather information; interview witnesses; respond to off-campus conduct that has a continuing effect on District programs and activities; apply the standard of evidence; make findings, retain records; and resolve complaints in a timely, appropriate, and effective manner.
