Involuntary Demotion for Cause. An appointing authority may demote an employee holding permanent status in the job class from which demoted only for just cause. The demoted employee shall be furnished with a statement in writing setting forth reasons for the demotion.

Involuntary Demotion for Cause. The Employer may demote an employee holding permanent status in the job class from which demoted only for just cause. The demoted employee shall be furnished with a statement in writing setting forth reasons for the demotion.
Involuntary Demotion for Cause. When an employee is involuntarily assigned to a new position within a lower pay band as a result of a decision letter, the employee’s basic pay shall be reduced to the comparable position in the pay band. For example, if the employee had been paid thirty percent (30%) into the previous pay band, pay will be set at the level that is thirty percent (30%) into the new pay band. Future pay increases will be paid in accordance with Article 108 Section 3, Annual Pay Adjustments.

  • Termination for Cause If Vendor fails to materially perform pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, TIPS shall provide written notice to Vendor specifying the default. If Vendor does not cure such default within thirty (30) days, TIPS may terminate this Agreement, in whole or in part, for cause. If TIPS terminates this Agreement for cause, and it is later determined that the termination for cause was wrongful, the termination shall automatically be converted to and treated as a termination for convenience.
