Common use of Involuntary Transfers or Reassignments Clause in Contracts

Involuntary Transfers or Reassignments. Nothing in this article shall be interpreted as diminishing in any way the Superintendent’s right to transfer or reassign employees for the good of the school system. When an involuntary transfer or reassignment is necessary and when this action is not for disciplinary reasons, SMCPS agrees to consider length of service with SMCPS in determining which employee will be transferred or reassigned.
