JOB DIFFERENTIAL. 12.1 Any employee who works in a job classification that is different from their designated job classification will receive a job differential payment if they satisfy the following: (a) The employee actually performs work in the higher classification; and, (b) The employee works in the higher classification for a period of 4 or more hours during a shift. 12.2 Where an employee has met the conditions set out above, he/she will be compensated at a rate no less than the minimum rate of the higher job classification. In no case will the differential payment be less than twenty dollars ($20) per shift.
