Job Selection. (a) Preference in appointment to bargaining unit positions will be given to employees of the Company who are members of the bargaining unit. For the purposes of this clause, employees on the recall list are considered eligible employees. (b) Job selections and promotions shall be on the basis of knowledge, skills and ability to perform the vacant job (as at the time of posting). Where the knowledge, skills and ability are relatively equal, seniority will be the determining factor.
