Common use of Joint Health & Safety Committee Clause in Contracts

Joint Health & Safety Committee. i) The Employer agrees to comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act. ii) All time spent by a member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee attending meetings of the Committee and carrying out his/her duties, shall be deemed to be work time for which he/she shall be paid by the Employer at his/her regular rate and he/she shall be entitled to such time from work as necessary to attend scheduled meetings.
