Common use of Joint Union/Management Committee Clause in Contracts

Joint Union/Management Committee. 9.01 A Joint Union Management Committee of not more than eight (8) persons composed of an equal number of representatives of the University and representatives of the Bargaining Unit shall be established in the University. The purpose of this Committee is to meet and confer on matters of mutual interest which are not properly the subject matter of a grievance or negotiations. Terms of reference shall include such things as safety and working conditions, local rules and regulations, efficiency and productivity, pay periods, Benefit Plans, and Workers' Compensation.
